I’m making mead :) This is my must. It is water, 2 lbs. of raw local honey, half a teaspoon of bee pollen (yeast nutrient), and a splash of lemon juice (for acidity). This is blurry, sorry. That’s a thermometer and it’s sitting at about 130 degrees right now. Waiting for it to get below 100 so I can add the yeast, which is Cooper’s Australian Ale Yeast. I read that Cooper’s gives some nice fruity overtones. We’ll see. Excited! More pictures to follow.
