I believe, like, abortion is a bad thing. Nobody ever, like, WANTS to have an abortion. It’s a difficult decision that no one can possibly ever want to be, like, faced with. But banning abortion would just, like, cause so much more pain. People would be, like, forced to go through pregnancy, forced to deal with an unwanted child, the works. Plus, banning it would just, like, push it underground and that will cause even MORE pain, what with back alley “doctors”, unsterile conditions, hangers, and so on. And, like, don’t even get me started on cases of pregnancy from rape or incest, or with fetal sickness and/or dangers to the life of the mother. Just imagine going through that with, like, no way out. Yeah, abortion is a bad thing, but banning it will be, like, way badder, way, WAY badder. It would just add some extra terribleness to, like, a person’s already terrible situation. And, like, no matter what your deepest convictions are, no one really knows when life actually begins. I, like, totally received a birthday card this year that said “Life begins at 40!”So, yeah.
