They are the circuses part of the bread and circuses the masses are fed. They provide the illusion of choice.
Obama has been as pro-war, pro-business, and pro-1984 as any Republican. He is full of shit and he lost me. I’m done. Looking back, I would’ve voted for Romney. At least he was more honest about being full of shit.
The Obama Presidency, filled with so much promise and hope at its outset, will be one of the biggest let-downs in American political history, I predict. I think our grandchildren, who will have their every step monitored and recorded by the government in the name of “security”, will agree.
Fascism arose in Germany because of the lack of any viable or real liberalism in the population. That’s where America sits. We have conservatism and faux-liberalism. American “liberals” wander in a political correctness wilderness while their freedom is stolen away from them and the very ground they walk upon is poisoned for profit and jobs.
Hermann Goring, one of Hitler’s handmaidens said: “All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.”
